Q&A Time – featuring Jacqueline Luurtsema, of Rx Geek

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

Superhuman endurance so I could implement every idea I have! Wouldn't that be fun!!

What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?

Toby Mac – Get Back Up

What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)

Hooked: A Guide to Building Habit Forming Products by Nir Eyal

I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?

Everything! Just trying to launch my business and there is so much to get done and so much to learn how to do. Feeling a bit overwhelmed because I still have a day job.

rx geek

Apple or PC?

Apple – and I am an accountant by trade; how crazy is that? But I still love my Mac!

What's your favorite social media network for business?

I haven't set up any social media for my business yet so I don't have a favorite. Based on the research I have done for the type of business I am launching, I think Facebook and Pinterest will be my best bets to begin with, but I guess as they say – “we shall see.”

What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?

That I am a closet songwriter. I have literally written hundreds of songs but never had the nerve to share them.

Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?

We are a creative group that generates new ideas and concepts to encourage kids to explore, dream and discover their passions. We will be launching an 8 week summer program on Facebook called Project Filament that will encourage kids to begin to explore their creativity.

You can find Jacqueline at PrescriptionGeek.com and she has a BRAND-SPANKING NEW Facebook page so let's show her some love and get her started off right over at Facebook.com/PrescriptionGeek

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Jacqueline mentioned Facebook, that will be the topic! {See the embedded Facebook post below.}

If you're an entrepreneur and would like to join in the fun, email [email protected] with YOUR answers to these same questions, and you could be featured here next week!
