Let's Get Social – Featuring Jessica Abbott

Welcome back to week two of a fun new feature here on Socially Aligned, Let's Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every week!

A big part of my business mission is to support entrepreneurs, and I am hoping this feature will be another way to do that by helping them get more visible, show their personalities, and have a little fun. (Hence some of the quirky questions.)

The response has been amazing! I am so glad everyone is enjoying the feature, and I appreciate all of the quiz responses everyone has sent in so far.

Don't forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment!

Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post.

Q&A Time – featuring Jessica Abbott

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

Shape-shifting, similar to Mystique on X-Men. I am a bit of a chameleon, pretty good at changing quickly to the environment or people around me. It's what allows me to work with various generations, genders and such and connect easily and genuinely. I LOVE meeting new people and learning all about them. People comment that I have an interesting group of friends, they are all very unique in so many ways. Who wants to have dinner with clones of yourself 😉

What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?

Shakira, Give it Up to Me

{Note from Julie: I'm thinking of starting a playlist on YouTube or Pinterest with all of the songs people are submitting. What do you think? Would you check it out? Let me know in comments!}

What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)

Ugh, only one?? Currently The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson (life changing), but I am cheating and throwing another one in here, Silencing Eve by Iris Johansen. I love crime/murder mysteries.

I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?

Creating some good videos and press packets and always looking for good corporate contacts for corporations looking to provide wellness programs to their employees.

Apple or PC?

What's your favorite social media network for business?

Facebook by far. I love being able to quickly interact with people and am always meeting new ones.

What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?

I was in gymnastics for ten years growing up, and I can still do back flips. I am much more sore afterwards than I used to be, but I did them when pregnant with my now six year old, just to prove to my older children that mom's still got it!

Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?

I help coach individuals that are tired by the cage they have created and feel locked inside of. Poor health, stress, low energy, weight gain to name a few. I help them gain their health back, increase their energy and knock off those pounds by helping them create a better sustainable lifestyle that allows them to break free of that cage. I specialize in clients that are in the corporate world struggling to balance it all and wanting to regain control so they can progress on their chosen career path and get those promotions!

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Jessica mentioned Facebook, that will be the topic! {See the embedded Facebook post below.} This week, it's actually not even just 1 tip – it's 4 tips, which I cover in an awesome FREE training video. If you've not seen it yet, be sure to check it out in the post below!

If you're an entrepreneur and would like to join in the fun, email [email protected] with YOUR answers to these same questions, and you could be featured here next week! (Please make the email subject line “Let's Get Social”)
