Welcome back for another week of, Let's Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!
This week I am featuring Angela Milano. Don't forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!
Q&A Time – featuring Angela:
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
It would probably have to be the ability to duplicate myself! Between work, my children, & just life in general…I feel like I need to be in more than one place at a time.
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
I really can't pick one specific song because I think music is like feelings, there's just so many & so varying. I can listen to anything from Tool though at any time & it just hits me.
What's the best book you've read this year? (Business or fiction)
Hmm…I actually LOVE reading & read a lot. History is definitely my favorite. This past year for my birthday, my children made me a “book” with all the reasons why they love me complete with illustrations. So I'd have to pick that one simply for the heart melting factor 😀
I love to play business matchmaker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
I've been redoing furniture & making home decor my whole life but just this past year did it go from just a passion of mine to a career choice so exposing my work to a larger number of people.
Apple or PC?
PC
What's your favorite social media network for business?
Facebook because you have the ability to not only have pages but can interact through all of the groups as well
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
Not really a talent I suppose but I have been hunting & shooting since I was little. I process whatever game I hunt myself & shot a record Whitetail when I was 16. I was also an officer in the US Army for 8 years.
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
Handicraft & DIY kind of gal! I am always searching for antique, vintage, & unique items to reinvent into one of a kind creations that are both useful & fun. By re-purposing & refinishing, I am able to give new life & love to furniture and home/holiday decor. I also love doing custom orders to revive your items into something that you will find a new love for!

Thanks for taking part, Angela!
Angela, Has done some work for me, two pieces she found, painted & distressed the other was a piece I already owned and it needed “new” life. Her work is from the heart and she delivers exactly what you ask for.
Love the interview…. Angela’s honesty is refreshing.
I wish her the most successful future as she continues to grow!
That’s wonderful, JoAnn!

Yay Angela,
I love, love, love repurposing items too – it’s rewarding on so many levels… AND it reduces landfill 🙂
