The one event you can’t miss in 2014 – Social Media Marketing World

The first blog post I wrote to kick off Socially Aligned was all about Social Media Marketing World 2013 (#SMMW13) and the huge impact it had on me. I was so inspired by the conference in fact, that I came home, created this site, and began working with clients a few weeks later!

Not only was there a world-class lineup of speakers, but I can't imagine a better networking environment. I came  home with a long list of new tools, tips and tricks-of-trade, and more importantly, I met some amazing people from around the world. In fact, I'm currently partnering with some of the amazing women that I met in San Diego!

The good news? Social Media Marketing World is returning for a second year and is sure to be better than ever! The even better news? If you sign up by November 15, 2013 to attend #SMMW14 you will save $400!

In fact, it's not uncommon to see the presenters at the after-hours events and chat with them over drinks!

The conference will be held at the bay-front Manchester Grand Hyatt, which is just 10 minutes from the airport. It’s located on the waterfront in scenic San Diego, California, adjacent to Seaport Village, the San Diego Convention Center and the historic Gaslamp Quarter. The hotel looks gorgeous, and I can't wait to check it out!
