Q&A Time – featuring Pat Stainke of The Prismatic Pen

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

My superpower would be to see straight into another’s soul from the first conversation together, and to understand what is most important to them.

What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?

Whether celebrating or looking for a boost, I love the chorus based on Habakkuk 3:17: Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet will I rejoice in the Lord, the God of my Salvation. Singing this verse reminds me that God is the source of all that is good in my life, and any prosperity I enjoy or hope for comes from Him.

What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)

The best book I’ve read this year is The New Rules of Marketing and PR by David Meerman Scott.

I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?

I would love to be matched with anyone who needs writing services to enhance their online presence, or to stoke their marketing efforts through email blasts, sales pages, articles, or blogs.

Apple or PC?

PC all the way!

What's your favorite social media network for business?

My favorite network for business is Facebook! However, as a Social Media Marketer, I have a lot of favorites, based on the outcomes my clients are looking for.

What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?

I speak several languages, and have a Masters in Deaf Education (it’s the language thing… ).

Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?

You know how a number of entrepreneurs struggle with the ‘writing piece’ of their online marketing? I work with heart-centered entrepreneurs and artists who need help writing, proofing, or editing their web copy. I craft written pieces and blogs designed to showcase their unique offerings, and draw in their ideal clients. In these pieces, I often focus on the power of their personal story. I also enjoy brainstorming with each client about the Social Media channels that are best suited to showcase their talents and engage their public. You can reach me at the.prismatic.pen@gmail.com.

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Pat mentioned Facebook, that will be the topic! {See the embedded Facebook post below.}

If you're an entrepreneur and would like to join in the fun, email julie@sociallyaligned.com with YOUR answers to these same questions, and you could be featured here next week!
