Welcome back for another week of, Let's Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!
This week I am featuring Maryann Gallagher. Don't forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!
Q&A Time – featuring Maryann:
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
If I were a superhero, I'd love to be able to end all forms of pain & suffering for humans and animals.
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
The song I've been cranking up lately is Uptown Funk.
What's the best book you've read this year? (Business or fiction)
I'm a huge Wayne Dyer fan. I love all of his books.
I love to play business matchmaker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
I would like some advice on fundraising for my business.
Apple or PC?
Both – I use my iPhone a lot, but when I need an actual computer, I much prefer a PC.
What's your favorite social media network for business?
My favorite social networks for business are Facebook and Instagram. Facebook is great for sharing information and I love the creative aspect of Instagram. I am a small business owner, and I think Instagram is a great way for potential customers to get to know my brand and the care I put into my products.
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
Hidden talent……I can balance a spoon on my nose. Is that a talent? 😀
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
I am the proud owner of Organic Beauty Junkie. I make all natural skin care and personal care products. In addition, I have a disability and the unemployment rate for people with disabilities in the U.S. is very high. I want to change that by hiring other people with disabilities once I expand my business. I can be found on my website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. I'm also on Etsy!
