Let’s Get Social – featuring Kristi Dosh
Welcome back for another week of, Let's Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!
This week I am featuring Kristi Dosh. Don't forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!
Q&A Time – featuring Kristi:
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
So usually when we talk about visibility as a super power, we talk about wanting to be invisible . . . but my super power is making people MORE visible. I was able to establish myself as a national expert through blogging and social media, leading to opportunities to write for outlets such as Forbes, ESPN, Glamour, Men's Health and more. Now I coach others on how to be “visible experts.”
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
What's the best book you've read this year? (Business or fiction)
I finally read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” and it definitely made me think about my own money story and habits.
I love to play business matchmaker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
I'm currently searching for someone who can help me with LeadPages and Facebook ads.
Apple or PC?
Definitely PC – I screw something up every time I try to use a Mac.
What's your favorite social media network for business?
It depends on what I'm doing. Twitter has long been my go-to for my sports business reporting, as Twitter is HUGE in the sports industry. I also met my husband and my agent on Twitter, so I'm not exaggerating when I say Twitter changed my life.
However, Facebook has been a better platform for me as a coach thanks to the ability to connect through Facebook groups and promoting my services and lead magnets through Facebook ads.
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
I pitched fast pitch softball growing up, and I can still throw a strike even though I haven't played in ten years!
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
I help my clients go from dabbling in their side hustle to dominating! Drawing on my own experiences becoming a “visible expert” and ditching my 9-5 as a corporate attorney, I help clients become more visible and more (in)credible so they can ditch their 9-5.
