Let’s Get Social – featuring Jo Casey

Welcome back for another week of, Let's Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!

This week I am featuring Jo Casey. Don't forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!

Q&A Time – featuring Jo:

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

I’d have a kindness ray – that would make people stop whatever they were doing and be filled with feelings of kindness (towards themselves and others)

What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?

I have a playlist called ‘Boldness’ that I crank up when I need a boost – it’s got all kinds on there – Paloma Faith, Led Zeppelin, Bjork, Faithless, Nina Simone,The Beastie Boys – it’s pretty eclectic!

What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)

The Signature of All Things: A Novel
– I still think about the main character even though it’s months since I read it.

I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?

I’d love a friendly accountant who can deal with scatty, creative types like me – I’m in the UK though so they’d have to be UK based.

let's get social features a different entrepreneur every Sunday on Socially Aligned

Apple or PC?

Apple – we got our first Mac a few years ago and I’ll never go back.

What's your favorite social media network for business?

Facebook – I use Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus too but Facebook is the one I’m most active on. The groups feature is the best – I’m part of some amazing ones and check in several times a day to exchange ideas, give and receive support – and look at stupid cat videos (natch!)

What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?

I can sing – but I only do it in the car when I think no-one can see me (oh the number of times I’ve had that idea disproved when a colleague or neighbour tells me they passed me singing my head off oblivious to the world!)

Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?

I help new and emerging coaches build a thriving business on their own terms by playing to their innate strengths, passions and quirks.
My site is www.jocasey.com and I also have a podcast called The Work Happy Coaching Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/id778357407

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Jo mentioned Facebook, that will be the topic! {See the embedded FB post below.}
