Let’s Get Social – featuring Helen Sanders
Welcome back for another week of Let’s Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!
This week I am featuring Helen Sanders. Don’t forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!
Q&A Time – featuring Helen:
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
I’d cure all childhood cancer but not just cure it. I’d make sure any child who had cancer is cured with no late effects.
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
My husband and son joke about the fact my top 10 has about 100 songs in it; I just circulate them depending on my mood. Free Fallin‘ by Tom Petty is one which features quite regularly. Journey and Don’t Stop Believing is another plus pretty much any US song.
What’s the best book you’ve read this year? (Business or fiction)
One Little Spark : Mickey’s Ten Commandments and the Road to Imagineering by Martin Sklar. A brilliant, if unconventional business book from one of the key engineers (Imagineers) who stood alongside and supported Walt Disney for decades.
I love to play business matchmaker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
I love this idea of you being a match maker! I’d love to meet someone who can turn my knowledge into profitable residual income. Equally I’d love to partner with VAs and HR professionals who would like to be able to offer their clients an additional service in terms of recruitment and hiring.
Apple or PC?
PC currently but once it dies, Apple all the way! Sorry PC, you’ve been very loyal but …
What’s your favorite social media network for business?
LinkedIn but Facebook is a close second for me.
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
I can play the drums, not very well but still…!
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
I help business owners save money and time on their recruitment, making sure they minimise the risk of a bad hire. I also write CVs for senior execs to ensure their CV is fit for purpose and they can get that awesome new career move.
