I'm very excited to announce a fun new weekly feature here on Socially Aligned, which I am calling Let's Get Social, where I will feature a different entrepreneur every week!
A big part of my business mission is to support entrepreneurs, and I am hoping this feature will be another way to do that by helping them get more visible, show their personalities, and have a little fun. (Hence some of the quirky questions.)
I'm loving the answers coming in, and I've realized it really is a great way to learn about people and connect with them in ways I never would have before. It's a diverse mix of questions, and my hope is that each week I will be introducing you to someone worth knowing, helping you to know them better, giving you ways to connect with them, and maybe lend them some assistance.
Other benefits? New ideas for your music play list and your reading list – two things I think we could all use! Plus, I am going to round out the post here on the blog with my favorite social media tip for the week – based on this entrepreneur's favorite channel.
Q&A Time – featuring Heather Jadus of Beautycounter
If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?
Invisibility – ironic eh? Seeing how I’m doing everything I can right now to be visible!
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
E-Mail Campaigns
Apple or PC?
PC
What's your favorite social media network for business?
Facebook is my go-to, but Instagram is growing on me.
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
I LOVE to cook! Give me some ingredients and spices and an idea of what you’re looking for and I’m all over it. I like things that are fresh and simple but have complex flavor. Believe it or not it’s not that hard to do, and when you cook this way it’s so much healthier!
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
I work for an amazing young company called Beautycounter. It’s not a product based company, it’s a mission based company. Beautycounter is on a mission to get safe products into the hands of everyone. We have created safe and effective products but what we really want to do is educate you on the plethora of cosmetic ingredients that you should not find in ANY of your products. Beautycounter also offers a true business opportunity to empower women to spread this important mission and make a living doing it!

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Heather mentioned Instagram, that will be the topic! {See the embedded Facebook post below.}
If you're an entrepreneur and would like to join in the fun, email [email protected] with YOUR answers to these same questions, and you could be featured here next week!
