Let’s Get Social – featuring Hanna Sear
Welcome back for another week of Let’s Get Social, where I feature a different entrepreneur every Sunday!
This week I am featuring Hanna Sear. Don’t forget – if you or someone you know can help out the featured entrepreneur with their area of need (see question #4), be sure to leave a comment! Also, if you would like to be the next entrepreneur featured, learn how at the end of this post. Enjoy!
Q&A Time – featuring Hanna:
If you were a superhero, what would your super power be?
I think I’m already a superhero of sorts and my super power is hearing people’s thoughts. Ok ok, I can’t really hear their thoughts, but I am super empathetic, and can sense people’s emotions very well. The only person who’s mind I truly can read is my husband. It’s kind of freaky sometimes.
What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?
Although I’ve studied classical singing, I don’t really listen to music that much. A really powerful piece of music that always gives me the chills is an aria from Puccini’s Madama Butterfly called “Un bel di vedremo”. And I could listen to Celine Dion all day long.
What’s the best book you’ve read this year? (Business or fiction)
Well, I haven’t gotten through any books in 2016 yet, but the most impactful book of 2015 was definitely “Big Magic” by Elizabeth Gilbert. Such a powerful and liberating book!
I love to play business matchmaker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?
My biggest struggle right now is getting my coaching business off the ground. It’s only 2 months old at this point, but I’m so excited to grow it this year. Any tips on getting visible are greatly appreciated.
Apple or PC?
Apple. No question!
What’s your favorite social media network for business?
Call me old-fashioned (ha!), but I still love Facebook the most. I’m looking forward to getting more into Instagram and Periscope, though.
What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?
I kind of spilled the beans already, but I’m actually trained in classical singing (in addition to a MA in psychology). Just this morning, I was singing in our apartment, and the downstairs neighbour came up and asked if I could turn down the volume. Haha! Singing has been a lifetime passion of mine, and I can’t imagine life without it.
Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?
I’m a dream and life coach. I work with goal setters and dream chasers who struggle with turning their big goals into manageable action steps and desire to find more clarity, reduce overwhelm, and create a clear path to their dream life.
I work with clients to get crystal clear on what they want and why, releasing fears that hold them back, and setting smart goals with an action plan they’re eager to set into motion to make sure their dreams don’t stay dreams forever. I firmly believe that anyone can turn their dream vision into their reality with some support, a teachable skill set, and a clear plan of action. My background in psychology gives me the tools to help bring real positive, and lasting change into my client’s lives. A perfect referral for me would be a woman who craves more from her life, but is struggling to make changes. She’s paralyzed by indecision, held back by self-doubt, or too overwhelmed to take the next step. She’s looking to turn her dreams from fantasy to plans and actions, and finally create changes that will bring more fulfilment into her life.
