Q&A Time – featuring Darbi Stolk

If you were a super hero, what would your super power be?

I'd definitely fly! My favorite scripture has always been Isaiah 40:31. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles.

What song do you crank up when you need a boost, or are celebrating a business victory?

Helen Reddy's “I am woman, hear me roar!” It says it for me: I'm powerful, capable, intelligent…Get out of my way, cause I'm coming through!!

What's the best book you've read this year? (business or fiction)

The Art of Significance: Achieving The Level Beyond Success by Dan Clark. I heard him speak live recently…phenomenal!

I love to play business match maker. What area of your business could you use help with, in case the Socially Aligned audience or I can hook you up with someone?

I'm still getting rolling so I'll have needs in several areas in a couple of months…most of all a virtual assistant. Right now, I'm working on coming up with branding and a logo.

Apple or PC?

I have a Chromebook now and I love it but it can be cranky working with others. I'll be getting a Mac next.

What's your favorite social media network for business?

I am fond of Google Plus but it doesn't yet have the reach of Facebook. Facebook can be cranky working with others (did I just say that?) especially business but as long as you play by it's rules you're OK. Really it is a great platform for my sister-preneurs and me.

What hidden talent do you have that people would be surprised to learn of?

I used to sing as a soloist in church and at local functions…”used to” being the operative.

Give us the elevator pitch – what do you do and where can people find you online to connect?

I use transformational coaching to help others with chronic illness, to explore their education, skills, and experiences to find ways to create productive, joyous, passion driven lives.  I can be found in the following places:

Now for my social media tip of the week! And since Darbi mentioned Facebook, that will be the topic! {See the embedded Facebook post below.}
